Te Ngākau consists of the 'Tumu Whakarae, ngā Taura Pouwhakarae & Taura Tū Taua katoa. They are responsible for the following:

Our guiding beliefs that characterize our whare.
Kaupapa
To make sure that our kaupapa is upheld and maintained. That the Tauira has reached the level, that they understand the requirements set before them within the kaupapa of Te Whare Tū Taua o Aotearoa.

Curriculum
The Ngākau is responsible for all of the learning plans within the whare carried out by each 'Māngai' of each peka. Outlining skills, performances, attitudes and values of each Tauira. To oversee all grading's and its outcomes.
