We are kaupapa-driven peka based in Te Tauihu, dedicated to the revitalisation of mau raakau, wero, and maatauranga Maaori on our marae. Through the taiaha, we uphold and transmit the values, tikanga, and language of our tiipuna.
More than a weapon, the Taiaha is our waka for transformation - promoting Te Reo Maaori me oonaa tikanga, strengthening identity, and nurturing the next generation of Maaori leaders. Our kaupapa is grounded in manaakitanga, whakapapa, and wairua, and we welcome all who are ready to stand in the waananga space with discipline and commitment to growth.
Together, we are reclaiming, restoring, reawakening the ways of our tiipuna, one step, one swing, one kupu at a time.
